Harun Matin is the head of our crime department. He has a wide range of experience in criminal defence work. He joined the firm in 2022 having previously been a director at National Legal Service solicitors. His cases take him the length and breadth of the UK. He is highly experienced in dealing with general and serious complex crime such as murder, drugs, serious sexual assault, terrorism and fraud.
He is also an advocate with Higher Rights and represents clients in the Crown Court, and Magistrates’ Court. Harun has vast experience in advising and representing individuals in Extradition proceedings and has dealt with Extradition requests from all over the world Harun is a honorary lecturer at Queen Mary University, London and a visiting lecturer at the University of Law.
